“The Eastside” is a collective term for the cities, towns, and suburbs located on the East side of Lake Washington. The most common places referred to as the Eastside include Bellevue (including Clyde Hill, Hunts Point, Yarrow Point and Medina), Kirkland, Redmond, Mercer Island, and all other Eastside communities. The Eastside is a major technology center and is home to many large high-tech companies including Microsoft, T-Mobile US, Nintendo of America, AT&T Mobility, Expedia Group and InfoSpace. Other companies such as Paccar, Puget Sound Energy, Verizon Wireless, Google, Yahoo, Disney and Fox Sports also have national, major divisional or regional offices located on the Eastside. This rapidly growing area offers everything from outdoor recreation, to luxury shopping.
